We’ve designed this process to be simple and collaborative. You’ll meet with us a few times, but most of the work happens behind the scenes so you can stay focused on your Career Mastery program. Here’s how it all comes together.
Step 1. Kickoff & Discovery
What happens
This is where we align on your goals, messaging, and brand direction. We’ll also walk you through the two website templates and banner style options so you can make informed choices.
What you’ll do before kickoff

Complete the Messaging Form (tagline, career highlights, LinkedIn link)
Upload your headshot and assets
Schedule your website kickoff
When we begin, our team will create a Brand Package folder for you inside your Career Mastery Google Drive. This will be your central home for everything related to your personal brand buildout — drafts, design files, and your final assets.
Here’s where you’ll see your brand coming to life. We’ll meet to walk you through your initial banner and one-page website design. Together, we’ll discuss what feels right and what could use adjustment.

Delegate access so our team can connect your domain and manage DNS settings for you
Time to celebrate! 🎉 You’ll receive your polished LinkedIn banner and your live one-page website. We’ll meet one final time to walk you through uploading your banner and making the most of your site.

FAQs
We know this is a big step, and questions are normal. Here are some of the most common ones we hear — and our quick answers. If you don’t see your question here, just reach out and we’ll be happy to help.
What if I don’t have a professional headshot yet?
No worries! You can still move forward with the process. Check out our Headshot & AI Photo Guide for both AI-based options and tips for traditional photography.
Do I need to have my domain before we start?
Not at all. We’ll walk you through domain options during the process. You’ll only need to register your domain before final handoff, and our Domain Registration Guide will make it simple.
What if I want more revisions after the Design Review?
We include time for revisions as part of the process. Just use the Revision Form to share your edits so we can track everything in one place.
Will my one-page website replace my LinkedIn profile or resume?
No — think of it as a complement. Your website is designed to showcase your professional story in a polished, easily shareable format. LinkedIn and your resume still serve their own purposes.
What happens if I don’t like either of the website templates?
The templates are flexible and customizable with your colors, photos, and messaging. During kickoff, we’ll walk through them with you so you can see how they adapt to your content.
What if I don’t know what to put in my tagline or career highlights?
That’s totally fine. The Career Mastery program gives you tools for this, and we’ve created a Tagline Guide and Career Highlights Guide to help you refine your inputs before kickoff.
Can I update my website myself later?
Yes, but it depends on the kind of updates. Small text changes are easy, and we’ll show you how in the Website Quick-Start Guide. For larger changes, like new sections or design adjustments, we can support you directly.
What happens after my website is launched?
We cover your hosting and plugin licenses for the first 6 months. After that, we’ll reach out to explore options: continue with one of our support packages, or take over hosting and management yourself.
How long will I have access to this resource page?
As long as you need it. This page is your permanent hub for links, guides, and FAQs, so you can come back anytime.
Still don’t see your question? Send us a note and we’ll get back to you quickly.
